Easter Seals Blake Foundation is offering an exciting new program for Tucson youth ages 10-14 that: Provides a natural learning
environment based on the principals of eco-psychology, Promotes
leadership, personal development, and conservation with a low youth-mentor/
student ratio, Fosters a fun, supportive environment where young
people come together and are motivated to learn about pertinent
issues (environmental, animal and humanitarian) and teaches children
about sustainability practices, solar and wind technologies.
Activities include:
· Leave no trace wilderness training
· Learning the ropes of the ranch
· Natural Horsemanship skills
· Environmental Studies
· Overnight camping trip
· Greenhouse and raised bed Gardening
· Field trips and much more
Sessions:
Session 1: June 7- June 30
Session 2: TBD
· All sessions run Monday - Friday from 8:30-3:30pm
· Limited aftercare available
if needed
· Scholarship funding is available for children that meet
the income requirements
· Transportation will be provided if needed
